During my monthly photo workshop, one of our attendees and FOREVER_® Ambassadors, Melanie Olson, brought me an old black-and-white photo.

Over the past eight years, Melanie and I discovered that we are distantly related through her husband. While going through some old family photos, she came across this intriguing picture with the name “Pawlowski” written on the back. Thinking it might be connected to my family, she brought it to me, hoping I could identify the people in it.

As I studied the photo, I immediately recognized my great-grandfather, William Pawlowski. However, the identities of the other three remained a mystery.

Melanie and I joked about using FOREVER Facial Recognition to help solve the puzzle. Curious, I snapped a picture of the photo with my phone. Within moments, three out of the four faces were identified! It was incredible – William, his wife Mathilda, and their son Otto were all recognized through Facial Recognition.

The fourth face, however, remains a mystery. I reached out to my 90-year-old dad and 92-year-old uncle for help, but neither could identify him. As I continue adding more relatives to my FOREVER account, I’m confident that eventually, there will be a “hit,” and we’ll uncover who this mystery man is.
