Using basic shapes, overlays and decorative shapes, learn how to create some sweet treats to adorn your pages. Video Notes:

- - Making the shapes for the chocolate. From the Insert Ribbon, go to the Content section, and click on Shape.
  - Click on Rectangle. (Same steps for Circle/Oval)
  - The shape operation panel opens.
  - Change the fill to a solid brown, remove the stroke and click Create.
  - Insert shapes from the Built in Kits. From the Insert Ribbon, go to the Content section, click on Shape and then From art kit.
  - Select the Rounded Rectangle.
  - Change the fill to a solid brown, remove the stroke, adjust the shape to a rectangle and click Create.
  - Making the fill fancy. To make the fill fancy, the shape can be filled with gradient color.
  - Select a shape, from the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT), click on Fill and Color gradient.
  - Make sure “Preview on page” is selected.
  - Pick two different brown colors.
  - Choose the gradient. And click OK.
  - Giving depth to the chocolates. To give depth to the chocolates, add a 3D edge.
  - With the shape selected go to the Filter Ribbon, click on Edge and then click on 3D Edge.
  - The 3D Edge operations panel opens. Adjust the Amount slider to 30, the Softness slider to 40 and the Width slider to 60.
  - Click on Preview to make sure the 3D Edge looks as desired. And then click OK.
  - Decorating the top of the chocolates.
  - Use an overlay to decorate the shape. Browse to an art kit with an overlay. Select the overlay and add it to the page.
  - Adjust the size of the overlay so the design is the appropriate ratio to the size of the chocolate.
  - With the overlay selected and placed over the chocolate, go to the Cut Ribbon, Cutters section and click on Shapes.
  - Select the same shape as the chocolate.
  - Adjust the cutter to the same size as the chocolate.
  - Select "Keep the unshaded area" and then click on Cut.
  - Change the fill of the overlay to a cream color.
  - From the QAT, fill, Solid Color, select a color and then click OK.
  - Shapes can be used to decorate the chocolates too. Browse to an art kit with shapes.
  - Click Create this Shape.
  - Adjust the shape.
  - Change the fill to a light cream color, remove the stroke and click create.
  - Modify the shape as desired.
  - Once the decoration for the chocolate has been created, select both elements, right click, and group them together.
