After watching this video, you are going to have even more fun with your shapes. Turn your grids into shaped collages. It is super easy to do and will fit every page.
### Video Notes: Start with a grid pattern on your page. You can create a grid patter using the grid cutter, piecing together elements, or using a Blueprint, template or pre-designed page.

Use the elements panel and lock all elements that are not part of the grid pattern
- Text boxes, embellishments, page background
Optional: If you desire to mat the collage, go to Insert> Shape> Rectangle
- Make the mat the same size as the collage
- Click create
- Right click the rectangle> Order> Move to the back
Select all empty photo holders
- Fill with a random paper
Ctrl-A to select all unlocked elements
- Go to Cut> Shape
- Choose desired Shape
- Resize and position the shape as desired
  - Make sure the perimeter of the shape does not fall within a transparent area (ie. the space between grid sections)
  - It is okay if the perimerter of the shape crosses a transparent area
- Select the appropriate area and Cut
With all elements selected, go to Insert> Outliner
- (Optional Mat Layer) If necessary, move the complete shape under all grid pieces in the elements panel
Select all of the original shapes
- Delete
(Optional Mat Layer) Select the full shape
- Use the Quick Access Toolbar, increase the stroke width as desired
- Optional: Right click> Stroke> Format
  - Change joints from mitered to round
- Right click> Flatten
- Fill the shape (mat) as desired
Fill grid pieces as desired
- For live photo holder: Right Click grid segment> Fill> Convert to photo drop point
- Repeat as necessary
Unlock all elements and complete page

Tips:

Lock the mat and Ctrl-A and use the QAT to resize, format and recolor the stroke on the grid segments.
Group all elements and lock the aspect ratio to resize or reposition the grid collage on your page.
