What seems so small will have huge impact as you apply the techniques shown in the video to a variety of elements on your pages. Think about tucking your title behind a panorama, or a number behind the birthday girl. This simple technique can create great impact.
Objective: Use the Custom Cutter and the Eraser to extract an area of your photo and tuck elements behind it.

Video Notes:

Note: A flattened photo is required for this technique. It is okay to Flatten the photo if prompted. Flattening allows you to use the cutting tools on the photo.

- - Zoom in and position your photo in the frame
  - With photo selected, go to Cut> Cutters> Custom> Cut out a straight path
    - Select the area that needs to be brought forward
      - Make sure to add some extra photo area in your selection
      - Your copied section should expand beyond the element it needs to cover.
    - Keep the appropriate area and Copy (DO NOT CUT)
  - With the copied section selected try one or both of the following options to get a clean cut:
    - Cut> Cutters> Custom> Straight path
      - Create a tight path around the area you want to keep
      - Keep the appropriate area and Cut
    - Touch up> Brushes> Erase
      - Select a soft brush
      - Use short brush strokes to erase any unwanted residue
      - Click OK
  - Move the copied section up the elements panel above the element you want it to cover.
