This quick and easy technique will have you adding elegant border detail to your pages. All you need is your favorite overlay to create this vellum border. Objective: Use shapes and overlays along with opacity adjustments to create elegant vellum border detail

Video Notes:

- - Insert> Content> Shape> Rectangle
    - Make the width 2 inches (or other desired width)
    - Make the height 12.5 inches (or 1/2 inch larger than the height of the page)
    - Remove the Stroke
    - Click Create
    - Position on page
      - Make sure the top and bottom bleed off the page
  - With rectangle selected go to Home> Edit> Copy> Paste
  - Select the original rectangle
    - Use the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) and fill the rectangle with solid color
    - Use the QAT to reduce the opacity to approximately 50
      - Make the opacity lower for more sheer vellum, or make it higher for more opaque vellum
      - Click in an empty area to deselect the border
  - Select the copied border, hold down the SHIFT key and select the original reduced opacity border
    - Use the arrange tools on the QAT to align the border copy directly on top of the original border
    - With only the top rectangle selected, right click> Fill> Convert to photo drop point
    - Drag and drop an overlay into the photo holder
      - Zoom in and position the overlay in the photo holder as desired
      - (Note: Be sure to use an overlay with transparent areas that allow the rectangle below to show through)
    - Use the QAT to add a simple stroke in your desired size to the rectangle
    - Right click> Flatten
    - Use the QAT to fill the flattened rectangle with the same color used to fill the original rectangle
    - Optional: Apply Shadows and/or 3D Edge
  - Select both layers (reduced opacity rectangle and overlay filled rectangle)> Right click> Grouping> Group
